Hot Lips Turtlehead is named for its bright pink flowers that resemble an open turtle's mouth, blooming in late summer to early fall. This perennial grows about 2 feet tall and is perfect for moist areas of the garden, where its unique flowers can add a playful touch.

Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips' prefers consistently moist, rich soil and can tolerate full shade to partial sun. Ensure the plant is watered regularly, especially in dry periods.
