Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Lean to average soil is ideal- overly rich conditions reduce blooming and promote weak, floppy growth.

Care Tips

Water regularly the first season; once established it is drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers consistently for continuous bloom from early summer through fall. Cut back by one-third after the main summer flush to tidy the plant and encourage a fresh round of blooms. Divide every 2–3 years in spring. Virtually pest- and disease-free. Large white flowers on a compact, well-behaved plant make Polaris a clean, elegant choice for sunny borders and container plantings.
