Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Good drainage is essential.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers for continuous bloom. Shear back midseason if plants become leggy. Cut back in early spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. The ruffled, raspberry-pink flowers have an especially full, frilly, double form that is unusually ornamental for a dianthus. Spicy-fragrant and produced over a very long season. A charming, romantic dianthus with exceptional flower form.
