Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Good drainage is essential.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers for continuous bloom. Shear back midseason if needed. Cut back in early spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. Paint the Town pinks are outstanding performers with excellent heat and humidity tolerance. Fancy produces elegantly bi-colored flowers in a refined pattern- a sophisticated, multi-toned dianthus with a pleasant spicy fragrance produced over an exceptionally long season.
