Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in spring in average, well-drained soil, spacing 18–24 inches apart. White Swan produces clean, pure white petals surrounding a golden-orange central cone — one of the most classic and reliable white-flowered coneflowers. It adapts to average garden conditions without special preparation. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce as the plant becomes drought tolerant.

Care Tips

Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering, or leave seed heads for birds. Divide every three to four years in spring to maintain vigor. No heavy fertilizing is needed. The pure white petals and golden center create a classic, clean color combination that works beautifully with virtually any companion plant. An outstanding nectar source for pollinators throughout the summer months. Excellent for cutting.
