Blue Hobbit Sea Holly

Plant in spring or fall in average to lean, sharply drained soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Does not perform well in heavy clay or consistently wet soil without amendment.

Water regularly to establish, then reduce- very drought tolerant once established. Lean soil produces the best blue color and most compact growth, so avoid over-fertilizing. Deadhead or leave dried flower heads for winter structure in the garden. Cut back in early spring. Virtually pest- and disease-free and deer resistant. A great front-of-border plant for dry, sunny spots.
