Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in spring in average, well-drained to dry soil, spacing 12–18 inches apart. SpinTop Orange Halo produces vivid orange flowers with a distinctive contrasting ring or halo pattern on the petals over an exceptionally long blooming season. Good drainage is essential. No soil amendment needed. Water moderately and reduce further as the plant becomes established.

Care Tips

Deadhead regularly to keep new flowers forming. Cut back by one-third in midsummer if plants look tired. Divide every two to three years in spring. No heavy fertilizing needed. Blanket flowers are exceptionally heat and drought tolerant. The distinctive halo pattern of Orange Halo makes it particularly eye-catching in the garden. Compact habit ideal for borders, rock gardens, and containers. Outstanding nectar source for pollinators throughout the long blooming season.
