Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season- sneezeweed prefers reliably moist conditions and performs poorly in dry soil. Pinch or cut stems back by half in late spring to encourage compact growth and more flowers, reducing the need for staking. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering into fall. Cut to the ground in late fall. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to maintain vigor. The rich, velvety red flowers with a darker center are exceptionally bold and long-lasting. Excellent for pollinators.
