Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 24–30 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails, especially in wet conditions. The bold, blue-green leaves with wide golden-yellow margins are striking and hold their color well through the season. Cut back all foliage in late fall after frost. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced fertilizer. A large, impressive hosta with excellent, reliable variegation and good substance to the leaves.
