Monroe's White Lilyturf

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained to average soil in partial to full shade, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Monroe's White is a lilyturf variety with striking white-striped, strap-like foliage that brightens shaded garden areas throughout the season. It adapts to a range of conditions including dry shade. No special soil preparation needed. Water well and mulch lightly after planting.

Very little maintenance is required. Cut back old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Lilyturf spreads gradually to fill in shaded areas and is excellent as a groundcover under trees. Divide every three to four years to control spread or propagate. No regular fertilizing needed in average soils. The white-striped foliage provides reliable, long-lasting color in challenging shaded spots throughout the entire growing season.
