Sugar Buzz® Rockin' Raspberry Bee Balm

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained to moist soil, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Rockin' Raspberry produces vivid, raspberry-pink flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies from midsummer through fall. The Sugar Buzz series has improved mildew resistance compared to older bee balm varieties. Incorporate compost into the planting area and water well. Choose a site with good air circulation.

Cut plants back by about one-half after the first main flush of bloom to encourage a second round of flowering and fresh growth. Good air circulation helps reduce powdery mildew. Divide every two to three years in spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. The vivid raspberry-pink flowers are irresistible to hummingbirds. Compact Sugar Buzz habit makes this bee balm more manageable than older large varieties, fitting comfortably in smaller garden spaces.
