Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Thrives in lean conditions.

Care Tips

Water regularly the first season; once established it is highly drought tolerant. Cut back to 4–6 inches in late winter or early spring- do not cut back in fall. Divide every 3–5 years in spring. No fertilization needed. Blue Paradise is selected for exceptionally intense, metallic blue foliage color that holds remarkably well through the growing season before transitioning to warm orange and rust in fall. One of the most vivid and reliable blue little bluestem selections available. Largely pest-free.
