Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Little Miss Sunshine is a compact sedum with bright, golden-yellow succulent foliage — one of the most vivid yellow-foliaged sedum varieties available. Good drainage is essential. No soil amendment needed in average, well-drained conditions. Water sparingly after planting and reduce further as established.

Care Tips

Cut back lightly in early spring to remove any winter-damaged portions. The vivid golden-yellow foliage provides outstanding all-season interest. Divide every three to four years in spring. No fertilizing needed in average soils. The bright golden color of Little Miss Sunshine is exceptional and works beautifully in combination with dark-leaved or deep purple companion plants. An outstanding, low-maintenance perennial for hot, sunny, well-drained borders and rock gardens.
