Solanna™ Golden Sphere Tickseed

Plant in spring, spacing 12–18 inches apart in well-drained soil. Tickseed performs best in average to lean soils — avoid planting in heavy clay or overly rich beds, as this can lead to floppy growth. Water regularly for the first few weeks after planting. Once established, it handles dry conditions well and thrives in hot, sunny spots.

Deadhead consistently throughout the season to keep blooms coming. Cut plants back by about one-third in midsummer if they begin to look tired — this often triggers a fresh flush of growth and flowers. In fall, cut stems back to the base. Divide every three years in spring to maintain plant vigor.
