Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Good drainage is essential- lamb's ears will rot in wet, heavy, or poorly drained soil.

Care Tips

Water after planting then reduce significantly once established- this is a drought-tolerant plant that prefers dry to average conditions. This variety is notable for producing very little flower spike, keeping the focus on the large, woolly silver foliage. Remove any flower spikes that do appear if you prefer a clean foliage effect. Divide every 3–4 years in spring to refresh crowded clumps. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
