Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season- foamflower prefers reliably moist conditions in shade. This running form spreads by stolons to form a weed-suppressing groundcover. Divide in spring to control spread or propagate. Little pruning is needed- remove any old or tattered leaves in early spring before new growth emerges. No fertilization is generally needed. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. The delicate, frothy white-to-pink flower spikes in spring and attractive, patterned foliage provide interest from spring through fall.
