Touch of Blush False Sunflower

Plant in average to lean, moist to dry, well-drained soil. Space 24-30 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers for continuous bloom from midsummer into fall, or leave seed heads for birds. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. Touch of Blue has unusually blue-tinted foliage- the silver-blue sheen on the leaves is quite different from the typical green-leaved Heliopsis. The golden-yellow flowers contrast beautifully against the cool, blue-tinted foliage. A distinctive and refined false sunflower.
