Mini Cherry Flower Carpet® Rose

Plant in spring or fall in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Flower Carpet roses are designed to be easy — minimal soil preparation is needed beyond digging a wide planting hole and adding a little compost. Water deeply after planting and mulch 2–3 inches around the base. These compact roses work beautifully as low groundcovers, border edging, or in containers.

Prune hard in early spring, cutting all canes back to about 8–10 inches from the ground. This promotes the vigorous new growth that produces the best bloom display. The excellent disease resistance of Flower Carpet varieties means far less monitoring and treatment than traditional roses. No deadheading is required. Fertilize in spring with a rose or balanced fertilizer. Very low maintenance and rewarding.
