My Girl Easy Elegance® Shrub Rose

Plant in spring or fall, spacing 3–4 feet apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a wide planting hole, add compost to the backfill, and water deeply. Apply 2–3 inches of mulch around the base. My Girl is bred to be an easy-care, disease-resistant rose — it requires far less attention than traditional hybrid tea roses.

Prune lightly in early spring to remove dead wood and shape the plant. No deadheading is strictly necessary, but removing spent blooms does encourage more flowers. Fertilize in early spring and again in midsummer. My Girl produces large, showy pink blooms with a light fragrance throughout the season.
