Julia Child® Floribunda Rose

Plant in spring or fall in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Julia Child is a widely celebrated, easy-to-grow floribunda with deep golden-yellow flowers, a buttery texture, and a strong, licorice fragrance. Dig a wide planting hole, amend with compost, and water deeply after planting. Apply 2–3 inches of mulch. Choose a site with good air circulation.

Prune in early spring, removing dead wood and cutting healthy canes back by about one-third. Deadhead spent bloom clusters consistently to keep new flowers forming throughout the season. Fertilize every four to six weeks from spring through late summer. Julia Child has excellent disease resistance — one of the easiest and most reliable floribundas available.
