Plant in spring or fall in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Oregold is a classic, award-winning yellow hybrid tea rose with deep, rich golden-yellow, high-centered flowers and a pleasant fragrance. The color does not fade in heat as readily as many yellow roses. Dig a wide planting hole, add compost, and water deeply. Apply mulch. Full sun is essential.

Care Tips

Prune in early spring, removing dead wood and reducing canes by about one-third. Deadhead spent blooms consistently for continuous flowering. Fertilize every four to six weeks from spring through late summer. Water at the base to reduce disease.
