Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water consistently after planting; moderately drought tolerant once established. Trim tattered foliage in early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free. Wildberry has rich, deep purple foliage with a vivid berry-wine intensity that provides outstanding contrast in shaded borders and containers. The bold purple complements silver, chartreuse, and warm amber companions particularly well. Rose-pink flower wands in early summer add seasonal interest.
