Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in moist, humus-rich soil in partial to full shade, spacing 24–30 inches apart. Fragrant Bouquet is a large, vigorous hosta with wide, apple-green leaves edged in cream and exceptionally fragrant white flowers in summer — one of the most fragrant hostas available. Incorporate compost or leaf mold into the planting area and water well. Mulch to retain moisture.

Care Tips

Keep soil consistently moist throughout the growing season. Remove tattered or slug-damaged leaves as needed. Divide clumps every four to five years in spring to maintain vigor. The fragrant white flowers in summer are a wonderful bonus — plant where their scent can be enjoyed near a path or seating area. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced fertilizer. One of the best fragrant hostas for the shade garden.
