Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) enriched with organic matter. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently; mountain laurel's shallow roots appreciate steady moisture and cool soil. Deadhead spent flower clusters after blooming to improve next year's bloom. Prune lightly after flowering only if needed. Fertilize in spring with an acid fertilizer. Tinkerbell is a very compact, slow-growing dwarf with attractive small leaves and cinnamon-pink flowers- ideal for small gardens, containers, and rock gardens. Largely pest-free.
