Plant in well-drained, fertile soil amended with compost. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Provide a sturdy trellis, fence, or arbor for support. Space 6–8 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Water deeply and regularly, especially during the first season and dry periods. Train new canes onto the support structure as they develop. Prune in early spring to remove dead or damaged canes and lightly shape. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and again in midsummer. Monitor for black spot and powdery mildew- avoid overhead watering and maintain good air circulation. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering throughout the season.
