Planting Tips

Plant in average to moist, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water consistently after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Little pruning is needed- remove dead or crossing branches in early spring. Plant with another viburnum variety for cross-pollination and the best berry display. Fertilize lightly in spring. Blue Muffin® is a compact selection with excellent white flower clusters in spring and particularly prolific, vivid blue-black berries in fall that are outstanding for birds. Vivid fall foliage color completes the display. Largely pest-free.
