Little Miss Figgy® Dwarf Fig

Plant in spring in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun, spacing 4–5 feet apart. Little Miss Figgy is a very compact, dwarf fig that stays small enough for containers and small garden spaces while still producing full-sized, flavorful fruit. Incorporate generous amounts of compost and water well. In cold climates (below Zone 7), grow in a container and bring indoors for winter protection.

Prune in late winter to shape and control size. In cold climates, either provide winter protection in the ground or container-grow and move indoors before hard frost. Figs require little fertilizing — avoid heavy nitrogen which encourages leaves over fruit. Water consistently, especially during fruit development. The compact size of Little Miss Figgy makes fresh fig production accessible to gardeners with limited space. Fruit is excellent fresh or preserved.
