Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil in partial shade to full sun, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Azure Rush is a cranesbill geranium with clear, bright azure-blue flowers produced over a long season. It adapts to a range of conditions and has a tidy, well-branched habit. Incorporate compost into the planting area and water well.

Care Tips

Cut back after the main bloom flush in early summer to encourage a second round of flowers and fresh foliage growth. Divide every three to four years in spring. No heavy fertilizing needed. The clear azure-blue flower color is outstanding in the summer garden and pairs beautifully with yellows, oranges, and whites. Attractive to bees and butterflies.
