ReJoyce Dog Hobble

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) enriched with organic matter. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch generously to retain moisture.

Water consistently and deeply, especially during the first season and dry periods- dog hobble has shallow roots that appreciate steady moisture and cool soil. Little pruning is needed; simply remove any dead or damaged stems in early spring. Fertilize lightly with an acid-formulated fertilizer in spring. The gracefully arching, evergreen foliage provides attractive year-round structure, and the white flower clusters in spring are a bonus. Largely pest-free.
