One of the heaviest producers, this variety yields medium-to-large, sweet berries early in the season. It blooms late to avoid frost damage and features orange-yellow fall foliage.

Plant Duke Highbush Blueberry in early spring. Choose a sunny location with well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5-5.5). Space plants 4-5 feet apart. Water regularly, ensuring soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize with an acid-specific fertilizer in early spring and again in late spring. Prune annually in late winter to remove dead or weak branches and encourage new growth. Protect from birds with netting as berries ripen.
