Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.0–5.0). Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 3–4 inches deep. Plant with another variety for best fruit production.

Care Tips

Water consistently- blueberries have shallow roots requiring reliable moisture. Fertilize in early and late spring with an acid fertilizer. Never add lime. Midnight Cascade is notable for its strongly cascading, weeping growth habit, making it an unusually ornamental blueberry suitable for containers, hanging baskets, and landscape accent use. The edible berries are produced in summer alongside excellent fall foliage color. Net at ripening to protect berries from birds.
