Sapphire Cascade Blueberry

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.0–5.0). Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 3–4 inches deep. Plant with another variety for best fruit production.

Water consistently- blueberries have shallow roots requiring reliable moisture. Fertilize in early and late spring with an acid fertilizer. Never add lime. Sapphire Cascade is a companion to Midnight Cascade with a similarly attractive weeping, cascading growth habit. Excellent for containers, hanging baskets, and ornamental landscape use. The berries are edible and the fall foliage is vivid. Net at ripening to protect berries from birds.
