Jewel of the Desert Moonstone Ice Plant

Plant in well-drained to dry, lean soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Sharp drainage is essential- does not tolerate wet, heavy, or poorly drained soil.

Water consistently during the first season to establish; thereafter highly drought tolerant. Reduce watering significantly once plants are established. No fertilization needed. Remove spent flowers to keep the planting tidy. Trim lightly in early spring to remove any winter-damaged growth. Virtually pest-free. An outstanding low-water groundcover for sunny, dry spots, rock gardens, and slopes where drainage is excellent.
