Double Coded® Butter Pecan Coneflower

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water consistently the first season; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering, or leave seed heads for birds. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Watch for aster yellows- remove and discard any distorted or infected plants immediately. The fully double, warm butter-pecan-toned flowers have a rich, creamy warmth- an unusually soft color combination for a coneflower. Largely otherwise pest-free.
