Sombrero® Rosada Coneflower

Plant in spring in average, well-drained soil, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Rosada produces soft, warm pink flowers with a prominent orange-brown central cone on a compact plant. It adapts to average garden conditions. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce as the plant establishes and becomes more drought tolerant. Handles heat and dry conditions well.

Deadhead consistently to extend the blooming season, or leave seed heads for birds. Divide every three to four years in spring. No heavy fertilizing is needed. The soft, warm pink color of Rosada blends beautifully with whites, creams, and deeper pinks in the late summer garden. Excellent for cutting. The Sombrero series compact habit makes these plants ideal for smaller garden spaces and containers.
