Boom Chocolatta Hardy Geranium

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water consistently throughout the season; moderately drought tolerant once established. Cut back by half after the main flush of bloom to encourage fresh new growth and often a second flush of flowers. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free. Boom Chocolatta has remarkably dark, chocolate-toned foliage that is deeply colored and unusual- an outstanding ornamental feature all season that provides rich contrast in the border even when not in bloom.
