Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during the active growing and bloom season. Remove spent flower scapes after blooming is complete to keep the planting tidy. Divide every 3–4 years in spring or fall when clumps become very dense or bloom quality declines. Fertilize in spring with a balanced fertilizer. Largely pest-free. The bright golden-yellow flowers have a ruffled, cheerful character and the plant reblooms reliably when given adequate moisture and nutrients.
