Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during the bloom period. Deadhead spent flowers to keep the planting tidy. Divide every 3–4 years in spring or fall when clumps become overcrowded. Fertilize in spring with a balanced fertilizer. Largely pest-free. Hyperion is a classic, long-established daylily known for its large, fragrant, soft canary-yellow flowers on tall scapes in midsummer. Introduced in 1925, it remains one of the most popular and reliable daylilies ever produced- a true garden classic.
