Rainbow Rhythm® South Seas Daylily

Plant in spring or fall in fertile, well-drained to average soil, spacing 18–24 inches apart. South Seas is a large-flowered daylily with warm, tropical orange tones and attractive, ruffled petals — a showstopper in the summer garden. Daylilies are highly adaptable and establish easily in most garden soils. Incorporate compost into the planting area and water well.

Deadhead spent blooms daily for the neatest appearance. Divide every three to four years when flowering declines and clumps become crowded. Late summer or early fall is the best dividing time. Fertilize in spring with a balanced fertilizer. Water during extended dry spells. The large, ruffled, tropical-toned flowers of South Seas provide outstanding color and presence in the summer garden. Excellent for cutting and as a specimen perennial.
