Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Remove old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Largely pest-resistant. The intensely dark, jet-black foliage holds its color exceptionally well through the season, making Obsidian one of the most reliably dark-leaved coral bells available. A dramatic contrast plant in any border or container combination.
