Purple Knockout Lyre Leaved Sage

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 12-18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Lean, dry conditions produce the best, most compact growth.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead or shear back after the first flush of vivid purple-blue flowers to encourage continuous bloom through summer and fall. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. The deep, rich purple flower spikes are exceptionally vivid and long-lasting. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
