Planting Tips

Plant in spring in well-drained to dry soil in full sun, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Silver Brocade is an artemisia with exceptionally finely cut, silver-white foliage with a soft, lacy texture — one of the most refined silver foliage plants available. It thrives in lean, dry conditions — avoid rich or wet soils. No soil amendment needed. Water moderately and reduce as established.

Care Tips

Highly drought tolerant once established- reduce watering significantly after the first season. Cut back hard in early spring to encourage fresh, dense growth. Divide every few years in spring to maintain a tidy habit. Avoid wet or poorly drained conditions, which cause crown rot. No fertilizing needed.
