Butterfly Milkweed is a vibrant North American native plant that brings a splash of orange to any garden. It's a magnet for pollinators, especially butterflies, making it a perfect choice for nature lovers. Monarch caterpillars feed on this plant as well as other milkweeds as well. This hardy perennial not only adds beauty but also supports the ecosystem by providing essential nectar for bees and butterflies.

Plant butterfly milkweed in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Space plants 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly until established, then reduce frequency as they are drought-tolerant. Fertilize lightly in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Cut back stems to about 6 inches in late fall or early spring to promote healthy growth.
