Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) amended with peat moss or compost. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch generously with shredded bark or pine needles.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season, especially during drought. Prune only immediately after flowering to avoid removing the following year's flower buds. Fertilize in spring with an acid-formulated azalea fertilizer. Avoid heavy, alkaline, or poorly drained soils. A late-blooming azalea that provides fresh white flowers when the spring rush is over. Clean, compact foliage makes it an attractive evergreen specimen year-round.
