Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) enriched with organic matter. Space 5–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep with shredded bark or pine needles.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently, especially during the first season and summer dry spells. Prune lightly immediately after flowering to preserve next year's flower buds- which form shortly after bloom. Fertilize in spring with an acid azalea fertilizer. This is a Northern Lights hybrid with outstanding cold hardiness. The clear yellow flowers are relatively rare in azaleas and make a striking display. Largely pest-resistant.
