This upright dark blue Baptisia is perfect for filling space in the landscape. The habit is taller than it is wide, with an elegant vase shape perfect for underplanting. 'Periwinkle Popsicle' is later to flower than most Baptisia, not showing color until most other varieties are finishing bloom.

Plant Decadence® Periwinkle Popcicle False Indigo in full sun for best flowering. Space plants 3-4 feet apart. Use well-drained soil, preferably sandy or loamy. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune back in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth. Divide clumps every 3-4 years to maintain vigor.
