Queen of Hearts Heartleaf Brunnera

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.

Water consistently throughout the season. Brunnera prefers cool, moist conditions and may rest in summer heat- cut back tired foliage and it will re-flush in cooler weather. Remove spent flower stems. Divide every 4–5 years in spring. Largely pest-free. Queen of Hearts features large, nearly all-silver leaves with just a narrow green margin- an exceptionally bright and luminous foliage combination that lights up shaded borders. The small, blue forget-me-not flowers in spring are a lovely seasonal bonus.
