Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the stem base.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first two seasons; moderately drought tolerant once established. Holds a naturally rounded, tidy form- a light trim in late spring after new growth hardens is usually all that is needed. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Holds good dark green color through winter. Monitor for boxwood leafminer and boxwood blight, and maintain good air circulation around plants to help reduce disease issues.
