Water consistently and generously- buttonbush thrives in wet, boggy conditions and along stream and pond edges. Tolerates extended periods of flooding. Prune in early spring to shape and remove dead wood. Fertilize lightly in spring. Sugar Shack® is a compact, refined buttonbush selection with a naturally tidy, rounded form. The distinctive, spherical, pincushion-like white flowers in summer are highly attractive to pollinators and butterflies. The persistent round seed heads add winter interest. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
