Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep. Space according to mature size noted on the plant tag.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly after planting; once established it has moderate drought tolerance. Little to no pruning is needed to maintain the natural globe form. If light tidying is desired, do so in early spring. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Good drainage is essential- avoid poorly drained sites. Largely pest- and disease-free and a very low-maintenance specimen plant.
